In order to log in, you can use electronic ID from BankID or Buypass.
BankID is a personal electronic ID with the highest level of security.
Contact your bank for details on how to obtain BankID.
You must be at least 15 years old to get BankID.
You must prove this by meeting in person, with valid identification (passport), at your bank.
Buypass ID is a personal electronic ID with the highest level of security. Buypass ID is an electronic ID on smart cards. You log in with your smart card and a PIN-code.
In order to use Buypass ID, you need a Norwegian personal identification number or D-number. If you have a smart card with a Buypass acceptance stamp on it (for instance an Altinn card) you can use this directly or after an upgrade.
When you have ordered eID from Buypass, you will shortly receive two letters; one that contains the Smart Card and another that contains PIN and PUK codes. In order to get hold of the letter with your Buypass ID (the smart card), you must collect it in person and identify yourself.
